A Poem to Make you Smile

They tell us we have to self-isolate
In order the virus can’t replicate
Week one is gone
But time seems too long
I reckon I need to self-medicate

A little poem to cheer you up by Janet Palmer
In the next few weeks
our true colours will show
even the wavy and sleeks,
the grey hair will show
the roots will come through
Whatever will we all do.
We should have heeded the warnings
and stocked up on dye
but there's milk bread and loo roll
far for a rainy day.more pressing to buy.
So as your hair grows longer
and turns silver grey
Just think of the wonga
You'll save for a rainy day.
